Kissin 'Dynamite is a 2002 founded German Heavy Metal - band from the Swabian cities Burladingen and Münsingen , consisting of five members.

history

Kissin 'Dynamite was born as a school band. In the School Jam 2006 Kissin 'Dynamite received a specially introduced special award for "the youngest band". Since the beginning of 2007 she has been working with the Flensburg producer team Elephant Music . At the end of 2007, the first demos were sent to various music labels, which in the same year led to a recording contract with Capitol Records and EMI and the debut album Steel of Swabia , as well as to festival appearances , such as at Bang Your Head 2009.

Their second album, also produced by Elephant Music, is entitled Addicted to Metal and has twelve tracks. Udo Dirkschneider sings along with the title song, and she also acted as the opening act several times for his appearances with UDO . The third album, entitled Money, Sex and Power , was completed in late 2011 and was released in March 2012 on AFM Records , their new record label. In the course of this release the band was on tour in support of the LA glam rockers of Steel Panther .

The album Megalomania was released in 2014, followed by Generation Goodbye in 2016 . In July 2018, the sixth studio album Ecstasy was released, which entered the top 10 of the German album charts. At the Metal Hammer Awards 2018, the band was awarded in the category Best German Band . In autumn of this year, Kissin 'Dynamite accompanied the German power metal band Powerwolf on their Wolfsnächte tour together with Amaranthe . This was followed by their own headlining tour in spring 2019.

Singer Hannes Braun and guitarist Jim Müller both work for the Elephant Music production team. Hannes Braun has been in a relationship with Exit-Eden singer Anna Brunner for several years , who also worked for Elephant Music until the end of 2019. Since the beginning of 2020 they have both been living in southern Germany in the Reutlingen area. The Exit Eden album was produced by Hannes Braun, as were all the songs on which Anna Brunner appeared as a duet partner.

Surname

According to the guitarist Jim Müller, the name is based on the AC / DC track of the same name . During a band meeting at which the name was discussed, Andi Schnitzer's cell phone is said to have rang. His ringtone at the time was Kissin 'Dynamite from AC / DC. Then the band decided to call themselves that.
