The Kitab-Verlag Klagenfurt-Wien is an Austrian small publishing house for literature , in 1999 by the historian Wilhelm Baum was founded. The name of the publisher is derived from the Arabic word Kitab / كتاب ( book ).

Publishing program

Translations of Slovenian, Croatian, Bosnian and Turkish literature are published regularly in cooperation with non-German-speaking publishers. These include authors such as Žarko Petan , Alojz Rebula , Kajetan Kovič , Sonja Porle , Boris Pahor and Janko Messner .
