Joachim "Daddes" Gaiser (born December 12, 1956 in Reutlingen , † April 22, 2004 of lung cancer) was the singer of the band. Even as a child he was musically influenced in the parental home. In 1973 he founded his first band under the name The Barbing Rocks . Three years later he founded the rock group Shakin 'Daddes Band , with which he had over 600 live performances by 2003. After his interim success with Kiz, he worked from 1987 to 2003 as a radio presenter and music editor for various local broadcasters in Baden-Württemberg. In addition, he regularly organized revival shows with well-known bands from the 1960s and 1970s. From the late 1990s he also appeared as a playwright. Under his artistic direction, the beat musical Pico was premiered in Hamburg in 1997 , in which the Rattles and the actress Isabel Varell appeared. The following year he premiered in Reutlingen with the play Himmelsstürmer . In 1999 the play Purzelbaum and the world premiere of the music theater piece Schall und Rauch at the Landestheater Tübingen followed . His last musical project was the music cabaret piece Die Orbit-Kosaken , which he wrote and in which he sang himself until his death.
Thomas "Stibbich" Dörr (born March 24, 1963 in Reutlingen ) was the band's drummer. He joined the band Hubert Kah as a drummer at the age of 16 . After working with Herter, he played for the bands Camouflage and Illi-Noize. Today he works as a cook and drum teacher.
Chutichai "Schuti" Indrasen was the band's bass player. Born in Thailand, the musician came to Germany in 1977 on a tour of his band and decided to settle in Reutlingen.
