The kkStB tender number 45 was a Tender series of kkStB whose tender originally by the Emperor Ferdinand Northern Railway came (KFNB).
The KFNB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1867 . They were supplied by the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , by the Avonside Engine Company in Bristol , by the Lokomotivfabrik der StEG and by Strousberg in Hanover . At the KFNB they were referred to as series G tenders.
After the nationalization of the KFNB, the kkStB classified these tenders as class 45 and continued to only couple them with locomotives from the former Northern Railway.
