The Klamer Basin is a small tertiary basin landscape of the Austrian granite and gneiss plateau in Upper Austria in the Lower Mühlviertel in the Perg district with the municipality of Klam as the eponymous capital.

The Klamer basin is located in the Upper Austrian spatial unit of the southern Mühlviertler peripheral locations , which is linked to the spatial unit of Aist-Naarn-Kuppenland . Such subsidence was created along geological fault lines and partially filled with deposits. They mostly show a climatically favorable location due to their southern exposure and relief structure.

Main river is the river network of Naarn belonging Klambach including some of its tributaries. The basin is a designated groundwater - Sanctuary . The Klambach leaves the basin landscape through the Klam Gorge before it reaches the Machland and the Schwemmnaarn into the Danube .

The linden tree in Klam is designated as a natural monument by the Upper Austrian provincial government .
