The 1954/55 season was the fifth season of Class B as the second highest Soviet ice hockey league .

mode

The 12 participants in class B were initially divided into two groups of six teams each. Each team played once against each group opponent. The top three teams from each group qualified for the final round, the top four teams in the Klass A rose up. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
