Klaus-Peter Juergens

Klaus-Peter Jürgens (born December 22, 1933 in Arnsberg near Kreuzburg in East Prussia ; † October 15, 2006 in Bad Homburg in front of the height ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and district administrator of the Hochtaunus district .

Life

After a study of law in Munich Jürgens worked at the Regional Finance Office Dusseldorf and the tax office Essen , before becoming a Kreisrechtsrat and later as district director in Olpe worked.

It was in 1965 with his thesis The restrictions of land ownership in the context of urban planning due to the recent legislation to Dr. jur. PhD.

After his tenure as district administrator, he changed to the management of the Darmstadt company Mengler KG at his own request .

Jürgens was married and had three children. Since 1956 he was a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Tuiskonia Munich.

Political activity

In 1978, Jürgens was elected as a candidate for the CDU as mayor and treasurer of the city of Bad Homburg vor der Höhe. The focus of his work was the attempt to use business management methods in his office as a local politician.

He was so successful that he was elected as district administrator of the Hochtaunus district. He held this office from 1985 to 1990. Jürgens was a member of the CDU and headed the CDU city association in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe as chairman from 1995 to 1996.
