Henning von Storch
Henning von Storch (born May 23, 1934 in Rostock ; † November 12, 2018 ibid) was a German politician ( CDU ), former district administrator of the Hochtaunus district and former member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament ; he came from the noble family von Storch, who were formerly wealthy in the Rostock district .

Henning von Storch had been a member of the CDU since 1963, where he was involved in a variety of functions. Since 2003 he was district chairman of the CDU Bad Doberan.
From 1966 to 1974 von Storch was a member of the district council of Plön . In 1974 he was elected mayor of the district town of Bad Segeberg . He held this office until his election as district administrator of the Hochtaunus district in 1979. In 1985 he resigned as district administrator and worked as a lawyer.
From 2002, Henning von Storch was a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament and was the financial policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group. He was directly elected in the Bad Doberan I state constituency. He was a member of the Agriculture Committee and the Legal and European Committee. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011 , he could neither defend his constituency nor enter the state parliament via the state list.
He has been a member of the district council in the Rostock district since 2014 .
