Klaus Dürr (politician, 1939)

Klaus Dürr (born April 17, 1939 in Mannheim , † October 27, 1997 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Klaus Dürr attended middle school and did an administration apprenticeship from 1953. In 1956 he trained for the non-technical higher administrative service and attended an evening grammar school at the same time . In 1959 he became an employee of the city administration of Ludwigshafen am Rhein . In 1960 he joined the SPD. In 1964 he became a senior employee in the administration of the Berlin fire brigade , and later in the Berlin Senate .

In the Berlin election in 1989 , Dürr was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. After the end of the legislative period in 1991, he attended the Administration Academy in Berlin and then moved to the higher service . In the following election in 1995 he was re- elected to parliament via the Spandau district list. With his death in October 1997 Renate Mende moved to the House of Representatives.
