Klaus D. Koch

Klaus D. Koch (born July 26, 1948 in Ellefeld ) is a German surgeon and aphorist .

Life

Koch studied medicine in Greifswald and Rostock . After completing his doctorate , Koch completed his specialist training in surgery at the Rostock University Hospital . From 1982 he worked as a ward doctor and from 1989 as a senior physician in trauma surgery, general surgery and intensive medicine at the Rostock University Surgical Clinic. He completed his habilitation in 1989 on the subject of "pancreatic penetration of antibiotics " and in 1992 received the license to teach surgery. Since 1993 Klaus D. Koch has been running his own surgical practice in Ticino , in the Rostock district . Koch discovered aphorism for himself during his studies and published his first aphorisms in the press in 1978 . Among other things, contributions have been made to the anthologies Kein Blatt vorm Mund by Verlag Tribüne and Das Trojanische Hobbypferd by Eulenspiegel-Verlag . Since his first own book U-Boats in Ehehafen in 1993, Koch has published other books with aphorisms and epigrams . An interplay of aphorisms and illustrations is typical of all books. The books by Klaus D. Koch were illustrated by Feliks Büttner , Peter Bauer and Inge Jastram and graphically designed by Gerd Max Lippmann. In addition, Koch published three children's books with rhymes that were illustrated by Manfred Bofinger .
