Klaus Dreikopf
Klaus Dreikopf (born March 12, 1943 in Koenigsberg ) is a German politician ( SPD , CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .
Life
Dreikopf attended high school and graduated from high school in Neuruppin . He made an adult qualification as an electrician and took an evening course to become an engineer for control technology , which he finished in 1972. He initially worked for research and development and later completed a postgraduate course in microprocessor technology.
He lives in Leipzig .
politics
Dreikopf was a member of the district party council and deputy chairman of the district committee of the SPD Leipzig. In the state elections in October 1990 he was elected to the state parliament of Saxony via the state list of the SPD Saxony , to which he only belonged during this electoral period. He was a member of the Petitions Committee and the special committee to investigate abuse of office and power as a result of SED rule. After he had not been included on the state list for state elections in 1994 , Dreikopf left the party and ran as an independent direct candidate in the Leipzig 3 constituency . It received 4.7% of the vote. As a result he joined the CDU and was city councilor of Leipzig from 1999 to 2004 . He is a board member and Internet representative of the Senior Citizens' Union Leipzig and the CDU local branch Leipzig-Southwest.
