Klaus Ertz (born 1945 in Homburg ) is a German art historian .

Life

Klaus Ertz attended the Ludwigsgymnasium in Saarbrücken . He studied archeology and German and received his doctorate in 1974 with a dissertation on Jan Brueghel the Elder at the University of Saarbrücken . The main focus of his work are the painters from the Brueghel family and their workshop. Together with his wife Christa Nitze-Ertz, he publishes exhibition catalogs and work directories . You run the Luca art publisher in Lingen (Ems) .
