Klaus Hansen (politician)

Klaus Hansen (born December 30, 1939 in Kiel ; † March 5, 1982 ) was a German lawyer and member of the Hamburg Parliament for the SPD .

Life

After attending primary school in Heiligenhafen and middle school in Hamburg, Klaus Hansen completed an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic from 1956 to 1958. In 1963 he took the foreign school leaving examination and then studied law, economics and political science in Hamburg, Tübingen and Berlin. In 1968 he passed the 1st state examination and 1972 the 2nd state examination.

In 1971 he became advisor for dormitory affairs at the University of Hamburg and in 1975 he was a member of the government. In 1981 he moved to the SPD parliamentary group as parliamentary manager.

Hansen had been a member of the SPD since 1965. He was initially a member of the Jarrestadt district , where he was deputy district chairman in 1968/69, before moving away from Jarrestadt. In 1970 he joined the ÖTV trade union . From 1974 to 1978 he sat in the district assembly Hamburg-Mitte and was a deputy of the judicial authority.

In 1978 he was elected a member of the Hamburg Parliament. He served on the Science and Research Committee , the Interior Committee, and the Legal Committee.

He died unexpectedly in March 1982. He left behind his wife and two children.
