Klaus Metzger (politician)
Klaus Metzger (born May 22, 1963 in Augsburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and since May 1, 2014 District Administrator of the Aichach-Friedberg district .
Life
Klaus Metzger completed a teacher training course at the University of Augsburg and taught at various primary schools in Swabia .
From 1997 to 2004 he initially worked as a research assistant at the Chair for Didactics of German Language and Literature at the University of Augsburg and later as a research assistant. After completing his doctorate in German at the University of Augsburg in 2004, he returned to school. After his assignment as a speaker and seminar representative at the government of Swabia , he was from 2011 until his inauguration as district administrator education authority and technical head of the state education authority in Aichach-Friedberg.
He is the author of numerous didactic publications and, among other things, editor of the Teachers Library Primary School (Cornelsen Scriptor, Berlin; until 2015), the series Didactics for the Primary School (Cornelsen Scriptor, Berlin; until 2015), Good Tasks for the Weekly Plan (Cornelsen Scriptor, Berlin; until 2015) and co-editor of the elementary school magazine ( Oldenbourg Verlag , Munich ).
Metzger is married and has two children.

Since May 1, 2014 Klaus Metzger district administrator of the district Aichach-Friedberg . He was re-elected for a further six years in March 2020 with 66.9%.

- Member of the committee for constitutional, legal and cultural issues of the Bavarian District Assembly (BLKT)
- Chairman of the Recreational Area Association Augsburg eV (EVA)
- Chairman of the Wittelsbacher Land eV
Furthermore, Klaus Metzger is a member of Rotary Schrobenhausen-Aichach, Disctrict 1840 and 15 associations in the district.
