Map by Johannes Gigas (1620)

Klausheide has essentially belonged to the Hövelhof community since it was founded in 1807. The Apelhof, located in Klausheide, is already mentioned as one of the three original courtyards of Hövelhof on the map of the Prince Diocese of Paderborn by Johannes Gigas , which was published around 1620 . Two other smaller parts (Kreissiedlung, Klausheider Siedlung) were incorporated on October 1, 1958 and January 1, 1975. Before that they were part of the Ostland municipality in the Delbrück office .

Religions

The Catholics from Klausheide belong to the parish of St. Johannes Nepomuk in Hövelhof in the Büren-Delbrück deanery of the Archdiocese of Paderborn , the Lutherans to the evangelical parish Hövelhof in the parish of Paderborn of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia .
