The Little Wheel (Polish: Tępy Szczyt ) is a mountain on the eastern part of the main ridge of the Giant Mountains.

Location and features

The peaks and northern slopes are in the area of the Polish national park Karkonoski Park Narodowy (KPN), near the Czech - Polish border, 5 km north-northeast of Spindleruv Mlyn (Czech: Špindlerův Mlýn , Polish: Szpindlerowy Młyn ) and 7 km west-southwest of Karpacz ( Krummhübel ).

The avalanche slope on the south side drops steeply to the Teufelsgrund (Czech: Čertův důl ) and is part of the Czech National Park Krkonošský národní park (KRNAP). Here the Teufelsbach (Czech: Čertova struha ) plunges into the valley of the Bílé Labe ( white water ).

The path of Polish-Czech friendship (Kammweg) passes below the woodless summit and connects the Little Bike with its neighbors, the Smogornia in the east and the Little Balaclava in the west.

In both nature reserves there are strict regulations that make leaving the hiking trails, picking and digging up plants and disturbing wild animals a punishable offense.
