Dombóvár small area

The small area Dombóvár ( Hungarian Dombóvári kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Tolna County in southern Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform, the successor district Dombóvár ( Hungarian Dombóvári járás) was created in early 2012 from all localities in the small area .

At the end of 2012, 32,333 inhabitants lived in an area of ​​509.02 km². The population density was 63.5, slightly above the county average.

The administrative seat was in the only city Dombóvár (19.067 Ew.).
