Bonyhád small area
The small area Bonyhád ( Hungarian Bonyhádi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Tolna County in southern Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . As part of the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, all 21 localities changed to the successor district of Bonyhád (Hungarian Bonyhádi járás ), which in turn was reinforced by 4 localities from the small area of Szekszárd .
At the end of 2012, 28,118 inhabitants lived on an area of 377.46 km², the small area was the smallest and the most sparsely populated in the county, the population density (74.5) was above the county average.
The administrative seat was in the city of Bonyhád (13.758 Ew.), Another city was Nagymányok (2.289 Ew.).
