location

Kleinvelden is located on the left bank of the Große Vils on the federal highway 388 about one kilometer west of Velden.

history

In the second Duke Surbar , which was drawn up after 1300, two courtyards are recorded as new properties in Minnervelden . The place belonged to the Obmannschaft Putreinsdorff (Biedersdorf, community Neufraunhofen ) and appears from 1538 as a separate Obmannschaft in the office Biburg of the district court Biburg ( Vilsbiburg ). In 1752, the Kleinvelden supervisory board included the towns of Einäuglmühle, Breitenaich, Oberegglhof, Kleinvelden, Biedersdorf, Hofbruck (partially) and Viehweid.

With the first community edict of 1808 Kleinvelden came to the tax district, with the second community edict of 1818 to the community of Neufraunhofen . Until 1848 it was under the patrimonial court of Neufraunhofen.

On May 1, 1978, Kleinvelden was spun off from the municipality of Neufraunhofen as part of the municipal reform and connected to the Velden market.
