Klemens Hartenbach (born August 29, 1964 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a former German soccer player and today's soccer official.

In the 2nd Bundesliga , Hartenbach completed ten appearances as a goalkeeper for SC Freiburg in the 1988/89 and 1989/90 seasons, and in 1989/90 he also played a cup game . In summer 1990 he transferred to local rivals Freiburg FC , with the under coach Uwe Ehret alongside Frank Wormuth , Stefan Majewski and Uwe Staib as a master of Verbandsliga Südbaden in the Oberliga Baden-Wuerttemberg rose and the South Baden Club Cup won - with goalkeeper Joachim hollow tree contributed to the success as a "cup goalkeeper". The team, reinforced by Christian Streich , repeated the cup victory the following year - this time with Hartenbach, who saved the decisive penalty in the penalty shoot-out in the final against SV Linx - and at the same time they reached the round of 16 in the DFB Cup 1991/92 . In 1994 the club rose again from the association league, until 1998 Hartenbach was still in the squad of the FFC.

After the end of his active career, Hartenbach became a junior coach and sporting director at the Freiburg football school. In 2008, when Robin Dutt became head coach and Dirk Dufner became the club's sports director, he became head of the professionalized scouting department at SC Freiburg. In April 2013, Hartenbach and Jochen Saier temporarily took over the duties of sports director at SC. In the summer, the club gave the two of them permanent responsibility.
