The Klimbach is a four-kilometer long stream in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart , which, coming from the north, flows into the Karbach from the right .

course

The Klimbach rises at an altitude of about 263  m above sea level. NN on the Marktheidenfelder Platte from an intermittent source in the black hedge field on the southern edge of a small mixed forest between Roden and Urspringen and at the northwestern foot of the Käferberg ( 298  m above sea level ) south of the state road St 2438 connecting the two places .

The stream initially flows strongly straightened southwards through an agricultural zone between the Ackererberg ( 291  m above sea level ) on the right and the Rettberg on the left , the western spur of the Karbacher Höhe . It then passes the boundary from Roden to Markt Karbach and is fed shortly afterwards by a small field ditch on its right. The Klimbach then runs west of the wooded slopes first of the Viertelsberg and then the Abtsberg through the fields of the Dicklingsgrund .

It now reaches the northern edge of Karbach, first runs about 350 m above ground through the village, then disappears into the underground with pipes, reappears on the surface about 400 m later north of the alley Am Brübel and finally flows out at a height of about 182  m ü. NN on the southern edge of the village directly above the Breitmühle from the right into the Karbach coming from the east .
