Clinic Munich Pasing

The Klinikum München Pasing is a privately owned hospital of specialized care, with 400 beds in the Munich district Pasing .

history

The clinic developed from the asylum and hospital of the district on the left of the Isar in the municipality of Pasing. This institution emerged in 1884 from a foundation by Pastor Wörnzhofer . When the local authorities were renamed by the new self-administration law in 1919, the clinic was renamed the district hospital . In 1939, after the unification of the area names, the name was changed to District Hospital Munich-Pasing . As a result of the incorporation of Pasing into Munich, a hospital of the district of Munich was located in the area of the city of Munich .

Shortly before the end of the Second World War , the hospital was so badly destroyed in an air raid on April 25, 1945 that it had to be evacuated to the secondary school in Munich-Pasing .

After the war, the clinic was rebuilt and reopened in 1967 as a completely new building. In 2001 the treatment building II was built, which made modernizations possible.

In 2005 the Munich Pasing Clinic was sold by the Munich district to Rhön-Klinikum AG . Together with the Munich Perlach Clinic , it operates as a Munich Pasing and Perlach GmbH clinic . In the same year the clinic became the teaching hospital of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. As part of the renewed sale in 2013 and the integration into the HELIOS Kliniken Group , the names of both clinics of the Kliniken München Pasing and Perlach GmbH changed (since July 2014): The Klinikum München Perlach became the HELIOS Klinik München Perlach ; the Munich Pasing Clinic to the HELIOS Munich West Clinic . In 2019, Reza Ghotbi, who was previously chief physician for vascular surgery at the Pasing Clinic, became the medical director of the Helios Clinic in Munich West.
