The Klosterbach is a right tributary of the Große Aue , which is still called Neuer Mühlenbach at the mouth . The cloister brook lies entirely in the area of the municipality Rödinghausen in the district of Herford , North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Klosterbach rises north of Dono near the Donoer Berg on the southern edge of the Wiehengebirge at a source height of 152 m above sea level. NN . After a river length of 1.6 kilometers, the stream flows into a height of 94 m above sea level. NN at Aue river kilometer 82.9 in the Great Aue and thus 58 meters below the origin.
