CRISP! is a German comedy trio from Gießen .

history

In 2001 Guido Schmidt, Patrik Walter and Peter Kulla formed the comedy ensemble KNUSPER! At that time, the three had already been working for several years as members of the Russian Penguin Show , an improvisational comedy theater that takes place several times a month in the Musik- und Kunstverein Gießen, where they were able to acquire their tools in the field of comedic means of expression and cabaret tricks. As the process progressed, KNUSPER! from it a very unique style of comedy , cabaret , music, slapstick and parodies. CRISP! toured with a short program through various houses until Urban Priol encouraged them to develop a full-evening program at a performance in the Aschaffenburg court garden . The first program ... as if we had never been away had its premiere in early 2002.

This was the starting shot for the supraregional presence of KNUSPER !. Through their work at the Hessischer Rundfunk and in the House of the Springmaus , the group met Anka Zink in 2004 , who directed the second KNUSPER program Auf Manyers Request , which premiered in March 2005 in the Springmaus.

On November 30, 2007, the third program The 3 Glorious Seven celebrated its successful premiere in the Mainz Unterhaus .

On April 8th, 2009 KNUSPER! on their homepage the dissolution of the ensemble was announced and in November 2009 the trio said goodbye to the stage with a two and a half hour best-of show in front of a sold out hall.
