The Koboscha ( Russian Кобо́жа ) is a left tributary of the Mologa in the Russian oblasts of Novgorod and Vologda .
The Kobosha has its origin on the Valdai Heights in the small lake Velikoye in the Moshenskoe district of Novgorod Oblast. It initially flows in a northerly direction. Later it turns to the east and flows through the southwest of the Vologda Oblast and finally flows into the Mologa, a tributary of the Rybinsk Reservoir .
The Kobosha has a length of 184 km. It drains an area of 2660 km². The Kobosha is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The mean discharge at the mouth is 19.5 m³ / s. At least earlier, the Kobosha was used for rafting .
