Kogelsbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Georgen am Reith in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 82 building areas with 16,794 m² and 69 gardens on 92,684 m² in the cadastral community of Kogelsbach, in 1989/1990 there were 81 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 258 and in 2009/2010 there were 134 buildings on 251 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is predominantly agricultural. 139 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1,068 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 78 hectares and 1,092 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 77 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,084 hectares. The average soil climate of Kogelsbach is 22 (as of 2010).
