The Koglerau , also Koglerauspitz and Koglerauer Spitz , is 685  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria . It lies on the municipal boundary between Puchenau and Gramastetten , near the village of Großamberg. It is a mountain for excursions near the state capital Linz . There is a summit cross on its summit.

The Koglerau serves the Linz agglomeration as a local recreation area and, along with Pöstlingberg and Lichtenberg, is one of Linz's local mountains at the gateway to the Mühlviertel. Below the wooded summit, the view extends over the Danube , the Eferdinger Landl and, on a clear day, as far as the Alps.
