The Kohlgraben is an amelioration ditch and right tributary of the Ryck in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The trench begins north of Wackerow and runs from there in an easterly direction. It crosses under the federal highway 105 , crosses the southern part of the Neuenkirchen district and then runs south towards the Greifswald district of Steinbeckervorstadt again towards the east. Then it branches off to the south, flows through the extensive meadow landscape of the Ladebower Loch, crosses under the Ladebower Chaussee and finally flows into the Ryck.
The water is polluted by chemicals and polluted by the entry of nutrients. The ecological potential is described in a report by the State Office for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Geology Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as "bad", the chemical status as "not good".
