Kokaj ( Albanian also Inatoc / i , Serbian Инатовце Inatovce ) is a village in the municipality of Gjilan in Kosovo .
geography
Kokaj is located in the southeast of the area of the municipality of Gjilan , i.e. on the southeastern edge of Kosovo. The village is located deep in the mountains Malet e Karadakut or Malet e Zeza ( Serbian and Macedonian Скопска Црна Гора / Skopska Crna Gora ) and is 18 kilometers from the municipal capital Gjilan. It borders the Lloca area to the north, Sllubica to the east, Magjeren and Ranatocin (which belongs to the municipality of Preševo in Serbia ) to the south, and Muçibaba and Burica to the west . The total area of the Kokaj region is about 402.52 hectares . To the north of the village is Pogragja and the fortress of Pogragja .
There is a primary school in the village , which was established in 1967.

According to the 2011 census, Kokaj had 30 inhabitants at the time. All of them called themselves Albanians .
The entire population professed Islam in 2011 .

Southwest of Kokaj is the M-25.2 which runs towards Gjilan and the Muçibaba border crossing . In the north, the M-25.3 also runs in the direction of Gjilan as well as to Ranilug and the Končulj border crossing . The plan is to run the R 7.1 parallel to the M-25.3 from Lipjan to the Serbian village of Končulj via Gjilan.
