Kolmane

Kolmane is a village and the capital of the Gorouol rural community in Niger .
Kolmane is located in the center of the rural community on the Béli River , about halfway between the Niger River and the village of Yatakala . After the fall of the Songhai Oak's 1591 Kolmane one of those places in what is now Niger, on which Songhai -Flüchtlinge under a descendant of the former ruling dynasty Askia settled. In the 19th century, Kolmane was conquered by Tenguéréguédech, a subgroup of the Tuareg , under their leader Elou.
The village had 3,211 people in the 1988 census, 887 people in the 2001 census, and 1,130 people in the 2012 census.
