The Koménka , also Komenka or Komňa, is a left tributary of the Olšava in the Czech Republic .

geography

The Koménka rises on the southeast slope of the Bučník ( 552  m ) in the White Carpathians . Its source is west of Nový Dvůr on the state road I / 50 / E 50 between Bystřice pod Lopeníkem and Starý Hrozenkov . The course of the brook leads past the remains of the Zuvačov castle via Komňa , Špíškův Mlýn and Doubkův Mlýn to the north. Below the Nový Světlov Castle, the Koménka flows into the Olšava in Bojkovice .

The Koménka has a length of 7.9 km, its catchment area is 29.4 km².
