The Kommunale Personennahverkehrsgesellschaft Eisenach mbH ( KVG ) was a communal bus company, which was created in 1991 by separating passenger traffic from the West Thuringian Transport Company. The KVG operated 20 lines in Eisenach city traffic and regional lines in the Altlandkreis Eisenach until October 10, 2017 and was a member of the Wartburgkreis transport company . After the merger with PNG Bad Salzungen , it was merged into the municipal transport company WartburgMobil gkAöR (VUW) on October 10, 2017 .

The KVG operated 20 bus routes in the city of Eisenach. All except lines 6a and 10a started or ended at the ZOB opposite the Eisenach main station. The ZOB was approached by the KVG and the VGW regional lines. Line 6a went to the ZOB stop , but did not exclusively begin or end there.
