Konrad Christoph von Lehrbach (* December 12, 1677 ; † September 14, 1767 in Ellingen ) was a Knight of the Teutonic Order in the Franconian Ballei .

Life

Melchior's son Albrecht von Lehrbach and his wife Anna Johanna von der Tann were baptized in Kirtorf . After his investiture in the Teutonic Order in Ellingen on December 11, 1701, he became a master builder and house commander in Ellingen on June 20, 1705, which he remained until 1706.

From 1707 to 1708 he was house commander in Mergentheim . On November 6, 1708, he became the House Commander in Freudenthal, and on May 25, 1718, he became Commander of Regensburg and Gangkofen . From 1725 to 1727 he was Komtur in Oettingen , and in 1727 he moved as Komtur to the Kommende Münnerstadt . There were various complaints about him there, because he dismissed a decision-maker in a messy manner and was "defiant" towards the ball administration. Nevertheless, in November 1728 he was not only Commander of Ulm, but also a councilor . From 1732 he was Komtur der Kapfenburg .

In 1750 there was a trial against him for oppression of the people to come, mismanagement, alleged dealings with a decision maker and faked suicide . After he was first arrested in the Mergentheim order headquarters, he was transferred to the Landkommende Ellingen for arrest in October 1750. He was released six years later, partly because of his advanced age, in July 1756. In the following years he fought for his rehabilitation. From 1761 he lived again on instructions in Mergentheim, where he was assigned a private house as accommodation. Finally, in 1764, he was restituted (Latin restitutio, "restoration") and appointed Commander of Nuremberg .

Lehrbach died on September 14, 1767 in Ellingen and was buried in the castle chapel there.
