Konrad Finck von Finckenstein

Count Konrad Finck von Finckenstein (born September 22, 1860 in Schönberg near Rosenberg i. Westpr. , † October 4, 1916 there ) was the owner of the majorate and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

He came from the noble Finck von Finckenstein family and was the son of the manor owner, chamberlain and member of the Prussian mansion Konrad Karl Finck von Finckenstein (* 1820–1900) and his wife Agnes born von Kanitz (* 1826–1882).

From 1874 to 1880 he attended the Vitzthumsche Gymnasium in Dresden . He then studied law from 1880 to 1881 at the University of Bonn and then until 1883 at the University of Berlin . In Bonn he became a member of the Corps Borussia in 1880 . In 1883 he became a trainee lawyer, in 1890 a government assessor. From 1894/95 to 1897 he was district administrator in the Konitz district , then from 1897 to 1900 district administrator in the Duchy of Lauenburg and in this capacity at the same time head of the Lauenburg regional association . Since 1901 he was a hereditary member of the Prussian mansion , member of the Provincial Parliament of West Prussia , member of the Provincial Synod and District Deputy in the Rosenberg district in West Prussia . He was also Rittmeister of the reserve in the 1st Guard Uhlan Regiment .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Marienwerder 2 Rosenberg (West Pr.) , Löbau and the German Conservative Party .

family

He married Baroness Irene von Meerscheidt-Hüllessem on August 15, 1888 (born June 29, 1866). The couple had several children:

  • Konrad (Kunz) Otto Siegfried (* July 11, 1889; † 1932), manor owner and member of parliament ∞ Louisa von Forçade de Biaix
  • Benita Agnes Garbriele Antoniette Luise Maria (born June 7, 1890)
  • Garbriele Irene Magarethe Selma Bertha Elisabeth (born September 5, 1898)
  • Ottfried Ernst Gothold (born April 18, 1901; † November 23, 1987), German writer ∞ Eva Schubring (1903–1994), German politician
