Konrad Materne

Konrad Materne (born December 13, 1815 in Briese , district of Oels , province of Silesia ; † October 30, 1882 in Liebenwerda , province of Saxony ) was a German Protestant theologian and religion teacher .

Life

After graduating from high school in Oels , Materne studied Protestant theology at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In the summer semester of 1839 he became active in the Corps Masovia . After graduating, he became a candidate for a ministry position and a teacher at the school teacher seminar in Pr. Eylau . From there he came to the Liebenwerda Teachers' Seminar as a seminar director . In 1876 he was retired. He died at the age of 67.
