In 1382 Konrad von Hirschhorn, as canon of Mainz and provost of the St. Stephan monastery, left his father's share of the inheritance to the aforementioned brothers. On March 23, 1387 he was enrolled at the University of Heidelberg , from 1391 he appears as a canon and chair brotherly provost in Speyer. On February 11, 1403, the Speyer Bishop Raban von Helmstatt appointed him cathedral cantor , giving up his previous position as cathedral curator, as well as the treasury of the Speyer cathedral monastery , which Eglof von Knöringen took over.

The canon founded the Carmelite monastery in his hometown Hirschhorn am Neckar with his brothers Hans V. and Eberhard, as well as with their nephew Konrad (Albert's son) . In 1406 they had the associated Church of the Annunciation built, which still exists today. Brother Hans V found his final resting place in it. Konrad and his brother Hans and his wife also set up the celebration of the services in their foundation.

When Ersheimer Chapel Konrad had called Hirschhorn 1,412 misery stone , an elaborate Gothic dead light build.

Hirschhorn died on March 4, 1413 and is entered on this day with a memorial for the year in the younger Seelbuch of the Speyer Cathedral . According to the Seelbuch of the Speyer chair brothers , he was buried in the cloister there. Another source locates his grave in the cloister of Mainz Cathedral .

In his will, he bequeathed silver dishes, several books (including the works of Petrus Lombardus and the sermon collection of Jacobus de Voragine ), a missal , a portrait of St. Anna and a few other paintings to the Hirschhorn Monastery . Apparently for this given Anna picture a separate Anna chapel was built near the monastery church in 1515. In the Hessian State Library in Darmstadt , under the signature HS 889, there is a Speyer missal dated around 1380 from the Hirschhorn Carmelite Monastery, which is said to come from the aforementioned estate of Konrad von Hirschhorn.

The canon is probably also the author of a general medical book with the title Ler von Gesuchte , a pathology divided into four sections ( dietetics , general health rules and bloodletting , pain plasters, formulas for paralysis, leg and foot pain and gout, advice on bloodletting and purging ) .
