Konstantinos Tsilimparis ( Greek Κωνσταντίνος Τσιλιμπάρης Konstandinos Tsilimbaris , born July 31, 1979 in Kerkyra ) is a Greek handball goalkeeper .

Club career

Tsilimparis started handball in 1985 after a school inspection. At the age of 18 he became a professional handball player, he began his career in 1997 with ASE Douka and then played for Athinaikos Athens . For the 2006/2007 season he moved to the Spanish club Algeciras BM . In the 2008/2009 season he played at Stralsund HV in the handball Bundesliga . For the 2009/2010 season he moved to the Italian club AS Conversano ; with this club he was 2012 champion of the Italian elite handball league. In April 2013 he won the Cypriot Handball Cup with a team from the European University Cyprus (EUC). He then signed a contract with AEK Athens . When he won the cup with AEK in 2014, he was voted Most Valuable Player .

National team

Tsilimparis completed at least 130 international matches for the Greek national handball team ; he was in the roster at the 2004 Olympics and the 2005 World Handball Championship . He was also part of the national team for the qualifying games for the 2010 European Championship . He was also in the Greek squad in qualifying for the 2014 European Handball Championship .
