Pedagogical profile

There are three social pedagogues at the school who are each assigned to two years, e.g. B. Classes 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10. The social pedagogues accompany the assigned years through the intermediate level. Since the school year 2000/01 there has been a wind class project at the school in which the pupils of an entire class (and since the abolition of the orientation level of a music course) learn a wind instrument from the beginning of class 5 and play orchestral music in the year. Since the 2007/08 school year this project has been supplemented by a choir class. Hauptschulzweig and Realschulzweig cooperate with the vocational school in Neustadt. The pupils in grades 9 and 10 receive, depending on their profile, up to two days a week in preparatory classes at the vocational school .

The school participates in the Comenius program and bears the title Environmental School in Europe . Since August 2013 she has been part of the network School without Racism - School with Courage .

Partner project Yorenka Ãtame

In autumn 2012 the school signed a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian project Yorenka Ãtame from Marechal Thaumaturgo in Acre . The aim is cooperation within the framework of responsibility for the preservation of creation and the mutual appreciation of different cultures, through deepening the dialogue and practical action.
