Koosbüsch is located in the Prüm Valley . The L 9 and the K 68 run through the village. The Echtersbach flows west of the village and flows into the Prüm near Brecht . Neighboring towns are Altscheid in the northwest , Wiersdorf in the northeast , Hermesdorf in the southeast and Wißmannsdorf and Brecht in the south .
history
The place emerged from 1832 when the first settlers from Wiersdorf settled here. Since then the settlement has grown into a village. The place is named after the Koosbüsch mountain on whose foothills it lies.
