The Koritnica (Italian Coritenza , German Koritnich ) is a white water river in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia , which flows into the Soča .

The source of the Koritnica is about 1450 meters above sea level below the Mangart summit. The Predilpass road leads along part of the river from the Italian border towards Bovec . After severe storms in November 2000, a landslide devastated parts of the road and the village of Log pod Mangrtom on the Koritnica. On the way down the pass crosses the Koritnica the fortification Kluze by a deeply incised gorge . On the following section of the river down to the Soča, the Koritnica is a popular white water for kayak paddlers. At the village of Kal-Koritnica the river flows into the Soča.
