Kornberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Neuhofen an der Ybbs in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 139 building areas with a total of 36,665 m² and 84 gardens with a total of 226,805 m², in 1989/1990 there were 138 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 252, with 172 buildings existing. In 2009/2010 there were 131 buildings on 202 construction areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 553 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 307 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 549 hectares and 324 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 543 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 312 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kornberg is 31.1 (as of 2010).
