Korsvejens Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Amager southeast of the Danish capital Copenhagen . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Sokkelund Herred in what was then Københavns Amt , then to Tårnby Kommune in the smaller Københavns Amt , which became part of the Hovedstaden region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
Of the 42,539 inhabitants of Tårnby, 8,280 live in the parish of Korsvejens (as of January 1, 2020).
In the parish is the church "Korsvejskirke".
Neighboring communities are in the east Kastrup Sogn and in the south and west Tårnby Sogn , further in the north neighboring Københavns Kommune ( German : Copenhagen ) in the north-west Højdevang Sogn and in the north-east Simon Peders Sogn .
