The Kirchmöser power plant is a natural gas-fired gas and steam combined cycle power plant owned by Uniper in the Kirchmöser district of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel .

In the two gas turbines and one steam turbine with a total electrical nominal output of 160 megawatts , only traction current is generated. Water from the Plauer See is used for cooling . The power plant is used in the medium and peak load range. Construction began at the end of 1992, and the power plant officially went into operation at the end of 1994.
