The Tanjung Kling (or Tanjong Kling ) power plant is a combined cycle power plant in the state of Malacca , Malaysia , which is located on the Strait of Malacca . The city of Malacca is approximately 8 km east of the power plant.

The power station is owned by Pahlawan Power Sdn Bhd. (PPS) and is also operated by PPS. Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd (Edra) holds 100% of PPS. Edra is a subsidiary of the China General Nuclear Power Group .

The power plant consists of three blocks. The following table gives an overview:

The power plant consists of two gas turbines and a downstream steam turbine . A waste heat steam generator is connected to each of the two gas turbines ; the waste heat steam generator then supplies the steam turbine.
