Krajišnik ( Serbian - Cyrillic Крајишник , German Stephansfeld , Hungarian Istvánfölde ) is a place in the Serbian Banat . It is located 30 km east of Zrenjanin and 75 km north of Belgrade .
history
In 1796, Stephansfeld was settled by German colonists, most of whom came from the northern Banat and are not considered to be first colonists.
religion
The Serbian Orthodox Church of the Holy Great Martyr Pantaleon has been built in the village since 2011 . Krajišnik is the seat of the Krajišnik parish in the Sečanj deanery of the Banat Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The priest of the church is Archpriest Aleksandar Basta.
