The District Court of Jonava (lit. Jonavos rajono apylinkės teismas ) is a district court in the center of Lithuania , Kaunas district . There are nine judges (2014). The address is Vasario 16-osios g. 3, LT-55171, Jonava . The courthouse consists of three floors. There are three courtrooms in the district court .

The court belongs to general jurisdiction (appellate instance: Kaunas District Court ).

history

The predecessor of the court was the Soviet district court Jonava. Until 2003, the court had a bailiff's office with four bailiffs (senior bailiff was Ms. Valė Greskienė).

Judge

The president of the court (since September 16, 1999) is Jolanta Damulienė (* 1965). Her predecessor was Algimantas Valantinas (* 1961), former Attorney General of Lithuania , judge of the Second District Court in Vilnius .

Other judges are Jūratė Bučmienė, Žibutė Budžienė, Lidija Deksnienė, Vidmantas Paurys, Banga Puodžiuvienė, Romaldas Šuliokas and Larisa Tamulionienė.
