Crucifixion window in Runan

The crucifixion window in the Notre-Dame Catholic Church in Runan , a French parish in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany , was created in 1423. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1907 as Monument historique .

The central window in the choir was created by an unknown workshop. It shows a crucifixion scene with the crucifixion of Jesus on six lancets, with Mary on the left and the Apostle John on the right . The apostle Peter , St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Margaret of Antioch are depicted to the left and right .

At the bottom there are six coats of arms, not all of which could be identified.

The window was restored in 1886 by the stained glass workshop of the Carmelites of Le Mans .
