The Kriegsbach is a 3.2 km long orographically right tributary of the Finkenbach in Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

It rises on the southern outskirts of Kriegsfeld at an altitude of 350  m above sea level. NN . The stream, which often dries up in the upper reaches, flows to the northeast and, after a 3.2 km long run, flows at 245  m above sea level. NN on the right in the Finkenbach.

On its way, the Kriegsbach overcomes a height difference of 105 m, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 32.8 ‰. It drains a 5.058 km² catchment area via Finkenbach, Wiesbach , Nahe and Rhine into the North Sea and thus belongs to the river system of the Rhine.

The Kriegsbach is a carbonate middle mountain brook rich in fine material. Its water structure quality is predominantly given as strongly (quality class V) to completely changed (quality class VII). Only a few sections before the confluence with the Finkenbach are classified as significantly changed (quality class IV). The water quality of the Finkenbach is classified as moderately polluted for the entire course (quality class II). (Status: 2005)
