Fight dance
The term martial dance to martial arts understood the properties of a dance and have, often instrumental accompaniment are performed rhythmically. In some stick fights , wooden sticks are struck against each other in time (for example in the Brazilian Maculelê ).
The reasons for mixing combat and dance can be different: it can be a ceremonial performance practice (then usually referred to as a war dance ), the camouflage of combat training as a harmless dance, or a concept of training methodology. Many active people in these sports attach great importance to the fact that they are martial arts and not dances.
