Kristanna Loken
Kristanna Sommer Loken (born October 8, 1979 in Ghent , New York ) is an American actress and model .
biography
Loken was born in Ghent, New York, the daughter of the model Rande and the writer Merlin "Chris" Loken and grew up with her sister Tanya on their parents' fruit farm in Upstate New York . She has Norwegian and German ancestry.
As an actress, Loken made the role of Terminatrix TX in the film Terminator 3 - Rebellion of the Machines world famous. Before Terminator 3 , Loken played the role of Taja in the television series Mortal Kombat: Conquest .
Other film projects include the film adaptation of the Nibelungen saga , in which Loken plays Brunhilde, and the vampire film BloodRayne .
Loken starred in 2007 in the role of Paige Sobel in The L Word . She left the series, however, because she had private problems with the rest of the ensemble. In the same year she also starred in the action series Painkiller Jane .
On May 10, 2008 Loken married Noah Danby . On November 16, 2009, she announced in an interview that she had separated from Danby and was now in a relationship with a woman. Loken has been in a relationship with the politician Antonio Villaraigosa since May 2015 .
